Professional Designations
Christine R Lewis Realtor®, GRI, e-Pro
Not all real estate agents are realtors®, and the levels of education and training can vary widely among agents. Designations are the abbreviations following a Realtor®;'s name, and denote specific areas of training or expertise. These are also a sign of dedication to the industry, since they can be very time-consuming. I'll briefly describe those that I have below. Follow the links for further information.
- Realtor®
- This identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and thereby subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. Not all real estate agents are Realtors®, and this signifies my dedication to providing clients with ethical and professional representation. Read more
- GRI: Graduate Realtor Institute
- The GRI designation was developed for members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. It is focus is education and includes 90 hours of coursework on topics from marketing and servicing of listed properties to real estate law. Read more
- e-Pro: Certification for Internet Professionalism
- The e-PRO Certification Course is an educational program sponsored by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS®. In this fast-paced world technology has become a necessity. An e-PRO is someone who has recognized and responded to the needs of todays online consumer. By choosing an e-PRO, it's a safe bet you'll get the kind of service you want and need. Read more
